After all, Harbaugh did predict PC's downfall this year and said that the Furd doesn't bow down to anyone.........."We ARE Stanford"..........unless of course you belong to a Native American tribe and you can convince an entire university to name themselves after a redwood.
To me, winning the SEC is the most important expectation because it is totally within your own control and you automatically become BCS eligible. At least until a playoff system changes things, winning a MNC is about proving that you have a right to be in the game in the first place. As of right now, I'm not going set my expectations based on the biased judgement of a bunch of media hacks who could care less about the inequities of conference strength.
This from Dandy Don this morning: All Tiger fans are looking forward to the 2007 LSU football season, and with good reason. The 2007 team is very talented and has a chance of winning the national title. So there you have it, I can once again expect a national title run... DD's not known for being overly optimistic! :grin:
I want LSU to win as many championships as possible so that people will understand me when I realize my dream of having a purple and gold house and automobile. LSU! :crystal: :lsup:
I expect LSU to win a National Championship in everything. I also expect my education at LSU to not rival Oxford or Yale, but to exceed it. Now replace "expect" with want, and that how I feel.
