It is a joke site, and a very popular one. That's why when it comes to serious things like this they are usually correct. They know that A LOT of people read their site every day, and to post false information like this would not be good for them.
This thread brings to mind a related but much different point of view! Here in San Diego there was a coaching change that recently occurred. Thing of it is when Marty was being called out by the community and team GM it was all about getting Marty a new address. Not a whole bunch of who is it going to be in the white house, mainly the focus of Marty has to go. All of that coming from a tiny percentage of the population. Folks here are predominately transplants with eyes on left coast living. Point is there is very little allegiance to sports overall in this town, very little born and raised, myself included. I respect both sides of the fence on this forum regarding those who think of only moving forward and then those who see the past as a reflection of what the future could tell. What brings me here day after day is the juice from those who live and breathe purple and gold as a life style, for life and down to the greatest detail. I guess what I am saying is you really don’t know what you are missing until you don’t have it any more. For me it really is no concern what is being said around the camp fire because there will always be camp fires. Winning season, losing season no matter the case as long as when there is purple and gold flying around the tube you can bet that I will have my face 12 inches from the screen calling it when it happens despite the fact I don’t have 20 Tigers in the same room doing the same. I miss it but I am there! Let them all say what they want to but really you just have to enjoy the game despite the drama from those who can’t live without their drama. They are not going anywhere.
yeah i understand that for sure, but their source on that was a small michigan blog that they just copied and pasted from. going back to what i said about the internet always being relevant to me, all of the respected sites... ALL of them... are wrong a lot. Rivals, scout, etc. To pinpoint exactly when carr is going to retire on a joke site whose source is a tiny michigan blog (on blogspot.com no less) is reaching a bit. regardless, doesn't matter if they're wrong or right. we got a couple of championships to win.
yeah man i can understand that... all to well. as everyone i've left home for "greener pastures" or left jobs, or whatever to know the grass isn't always greener. but i really think i'm so out of it this season because of the rumor mill. i grew up with nothing but women... i can't handle this crap anymore haha. i'm out of the house damn it! :lol:
