I am all for people making their own judgments yet I was posting facts. I have bet on bowl games for years and the lines are always adjusted downward when teams are snubbed for bowls. The better team is usually still wrongly favored and often lose outright. No, everyone isn't aware snubbed teams lose focus in lesser bowls and lose...I'd contend most don't buy into it as this thread proves. Its not about judging, its facts you are omitting to make your point. I don't care, its your opinion either way. Last years USC/UM game is quite a different example. USC knew if they won their game the idiot AP writers would grant them AP NC and knew they were better off there than playing LSU. At least Petey knew. p.s. Why do you have almost 600 posts and have yet to donate 12 bucks?
I am incorporating a chat room into the forum for Brett (different than the other one)...and when I'm no longer poor I'll toss in some bucks too.
just wondering. I'll let you pass for now. You're halfway funny at least. TT had 300 yards passing at half ...now already 394. leach will be the flavor of the day after tonight.
That's the focus of the argument I was talking about. Yes that is an excuse. A spin. That's the history of sports or even life. Cal loses. Why? B/C Cal felt snubbed, then they didn't get up for it. Cal wins. Why? B/C they were determined not to let a bowl like this set them back. Anything can be spinned. You might have been thinking one thing and me another, yet both be right.
