    There was no rolling of dice. This was a very calculated decision.

    He knew that, even if Vince didn't go pro this season - then he definitely was next season. That means if he went to Texas, he would be the starter in max 2 years. Where at LSU, he had a chance to start right away, but if he couldn't beat them out he could be on the bench up to 3 years.
