BTW has anyone taken a look at USC's schedule? They can't even crow about putting overrated (Auburn) teams on their schedule to balance out the horrid Pac 10. They could seriously coast into the Orange without any serious challenge. They face exactly 1 team that finished in the top 25 last year. LSU faces 4 and of course would face a 5th likely top 10 team at the end if it wants to get to the Orange. Wouldn't it be lovely if there were a couple of other teams with the same record at the top and USC once again couldn't compete for an NC because of their SoS?

You just happen to be describing what happened last season as well. LSU undisputed national champions. USC won the rose bowl, yippie.

A very likely scenario. LSU, Miami, Texas or OU along with USC could be unbeaten. Their SOS sux and they'll get stung again by the BCS

No way UGA and LSU end up #s 1 & 2, after having to play each other twice. Surely he knows that. Then again, it is Dennis Dodd.

Dodd also didn't know that TCU (his #15 team) lost to Southern Miss, not Mississippi State.

And for what it's worth, I'm NOT buying into the Georgia hype just yet. We're talking about guys who had great sophomore seasons and fair junior ones. Perhaps that team peaked two seasons ago...
