It is very funny, I almost started to think if I should feel sorry for them, but then remembered that it's Auburn.
I don't know. Maybe it's just me, but I don't like to run unprovoked smack before a big game. To me, it's bad karma.
It wasn't until this year and late last year that media started admitting that the SEC is the toughest conference in the country. With that said, funny how now the AP Poll isn't factored anymore.
Not only that, it shows how lucky we were in 2003 too. In 2002, UGA went 13-1 wining the SECCG as well and got caught behind two undefeated teams in Ohio State and Miami. The next year we get in with one loss, which I believe was the first time a one-loss team won it all in the BCS. The next year Auburn gets left out...then we get in with 2 losses this year. Every year since 2001 not including 2003 & 2007(The years we got in) , there has been at least 2 undefeated teams.(2006 only had one)...pretty crazy
