If this is true? It was forwarded to me by my wife:

"This is something to think about! Since America is typically represented by
an eagle. Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages... The following
verse is from the Quran, (the Islamic Bible)
Quran (9:11) -- For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a
fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of
Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more
rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there
    was peace.
    Note the verse number!!!!! "

Chapter 9, Verse 11 of the Koran reads like this, from the online version I just looked at (thanks, Google)...

[9.11] But if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, they are your brethren in faith; and We make the communications clear for a people who know.

I also searched for the word "Eagle" in the text, and got no results. It may not be definitive, but it looks like someone made up a fish story on that one...

Wiat--doesn't the Quran have books like the Bible? So which book is TE's from?

I suspect the quote SabanFan gave is an urban legend--Snopes might have something definitive.
