I remember hearing that LSU made almost no money from going to the Sugar Bowl last year. Most of the money comes from revenue of things like merchandising. So, did LSU receive an additional $930,000 plus the 1.8 million? probably not, just checking... So last year LSU got the 1.8 million plus money from other schools in the SEC that went to bowls... Which means, if Auburn goes to the National Championship game, that's about $930,000 in the bank for LSU.
It said the 12.2 mil was divided 13 ways ... 12 SEC schools plus the SEC office. My guess is LSU did get the additional 930,000.
