I completely agree... Russell looked VERY good... you will have arguably the deepest and fastest WR group in the country that goes 5 deep with All-American-Level talent... not to mention a king's ransom in RB talent...

combine all of that with a very simlilar D to this year... wow.

With the talent this team has in place they should win 7 games without a coaching staff at all.

A fairly 'decent' coach should get us 8 wins. I'm expecting 9 or 10 from Les and wouldn't be surprised if we went undefeated.

What I'm hoping he brings will be domination by his second year. LSU to become the terror of the SEC.

No less than 9 wins. I will not tolerate anything less.

Much of our success next year will hinge on the QB position. If we develop an SEC QB, then 9 wins is very attainable. Think about it, we are loaded on offense ... give us a QB who can throw the ball and we'll be very dangerous.

On the flip side, it could be another frustrating year on offense if Russell/Flynn don't develop into an SEC QB.

Stoops went like 7-5 and lost to Ole Miss in the Independence Bowl.

Also, Larry Coker was a member of the staff when he took over from Butch Davis.

    Honeymoon, hell he's no virgin

The only thing this guy gets is the privaledge to lead a team into Tiger Stadium. If he does'nt win right away he gets what a swift kick in the butt and a free Uhaul rental.

Yep, he gets a honeymoon. The 2005 season. If he doesn't get the Tigers to the 2005 SEC CG I think this will not be a pretty site. Everyone and their brother was expecting this next season to be the real run at the title. Let's see what he does with it. I feel sorry for the man if he goes less than 9-2 and a major bowl.

No. The honeymoon is long gone.

He needs to go at least 9-2 next year with the schedule and talent he has....but going 9-2 would not disappoint me at all.
