1. If Bennie Brazell can learn to catch this offseason, I wouldn't completely write him off. He can fly.
  2. IF Bennie learns to catch he would be one badass deep threat. Whoever starts at QB will have ALOT of weapons to work with. We know about the talented WRs, then we'll have 2 very good TEs in Jones and Zinger, and a whole stable of talented RBs. We will have one hell of an offense next year.
  3. Wish in one hand and sh*t in the other, see which fills up first.

Bennie has been here for 3 years. If he hasn't learned to catch the ball yet I don't see it happening. He did make a couple of good special teams plays in the Ole Miss game. He looks to be pretty good at running someone down and then falling in front of them.
  4. I see brazell moving over to the defensive side of the ball. But I would list the wide outs in this order

    1. x. carter
    2. s. green
    3. a. hill
    4. e. doucett, d. bowe, c. davis

    eric

p.s. just in case carter reads this please sign you will be the number 1 wr.
  5. I disagree with you....Amp Hill is the best out of the bunch...He will turn into our #1 go to guy.
  6. Just like the rb situation, what a wonderful problem to have!!!!

    GEAUX TIGERS!!
  7. None of us has seen Amp Hill play, yet. Or Early Doucet for that matter. Listing Xavier Carter as #1 is a laugh, he isn't even a committment!

Skyler Green will start in the spring. Bowe and Davis, who have some playing time, will be the other receivers along with Brazell. Amp Hill may get in the rotation if he's 100% and has a good spring practice. Otherwise he will join Doucet and the other freshmen at the bottom of the receiver list in August.

Doucet and Hill may work their way into starting roles during the season, like Justin Vincent did. But they are not going to be "annointed" by the coaches and start the season just on their high school reputations.
  8. Amp Hill has been ready to play since week 4. Saban chose to RS him. If Henderson was to get hurt Hill was going to go in for him.
  9. If I'm not mistaken...and correct me if I'm wrong here...but Amp Hill, Xavier Carter, and Early Doucet haven't played a single DOWN of collegiate football yet, have they?

How anyone can rate them ANYWHERE on our depth chart without having seen them play a down of ball is amazingly clairvoyant, and rather Ramah-esque if you ask me...

Come on guys...We've got three guys returning with legitimate experience. Those guys-in order of experience-are:

    Skyler Green
    Dwayne Bowe
    Craig "Buster" Davis

We've got one guy who will be in his first year of eligibility but his second year of being in the program. That man is Amp Hill.

Reports are that this wide receiver corp is absolutely and supremely talented.

Now, how anyone can judge the fact that these wideouts made it out onto the field with the kinds of NFL caliber talent that Devery and MC had on display this year, and then say that two kids who have played four years of HIGH SCHOOL BALL will step in and take their spots away on the natural attrition of the depth chart is just stupid.

    You heard me. Stupid.

Now, they might actually see the field. They might actually do what you say. But to act as if you KNOW they will, or just mention it almost in passing, isn't laughable...It's pretty ignorant...

Does anyone remember what position Nicky Savoie, Mark Roman, Josh Reed, Marcus Spears, Eric Alexander, Adrian Mayes, LaVar Johnson, Cory Webster, Jack Hunt, or Randall Gay played when they arrived on campus?

Hell, the SEC Championship Game MVP and the Sugar Bowl MVP was trying out at freaking SAFETY in Spring Ball because he hadn't seen the field!

How any of you can project depth charts is silly, and how any of you could do so with a straight face on this site...

Well, I guess all I can say is that you guys are either distant relatives of Nostradamus, or you are showing what kind of level of credibility should be read into your future posts...
  10. Xavier Carter is just as fast as Bennie and he CAN catch the ball. Watchout for this guy.
