    Define making a difference?

Would he have gotten the 1st down when Lee scrambled then got chicken sh!t and tried a high dump pass to Williams when all it was was 3 yards away?

I would have to say YES!

Would he have brought a new look to the offense to throw off Bama?

    Again Yes!

Would having pulled Lee lite a fire under his ass and put him in check?
Not sure...I dont think anything can help Lee..he just is not a good QB!

Would he have come in and won the game?
Proably not...BUT WE DIDNT WIN ANYWAY

What kills me is when Hatch went down Miles said in an interview that Jefferson would take up the slack and he would play in the same situtations that Hatch was playing in.

We have YET to see this!

Seems like that would hurt Chris Leak's confidence, I remember how badly he played at times even as a senior.
If I remember CNS alternated Josh Booty and Rohand Davey.
The point is there are plenty of times when a different qb is put into a game
to give the team a spark and to settle down a starter.
    Give me a break!

Um.. no he put in Tebow because it was part of the game plan. All he ran was a QB draw right up the gut every time he was in. It wasnt because Leak was doing bad, are you kidding me???

Go find any football coach, high school, or college, and they will tell you, if you want to settle down a QB you call simple plays, that you know he can make. and Crowton did that in the first quarter, the fades the out routes, easy passes to boost his confidence.

The best offensive coach in modern CFB is famous for benching his QB's when they suck it up. Usually either the guy settles down and gets it together, but sometimes he finds out he has a football player sitting on his bench.

You think I don't know that?
Btw, that simple play down the sideline is the only play JL can run effectively.
That is the same one that turned out to be the int in ot.

    Hey,
If your satisfied with one pick 6 every game and possible one or two ints a game fine.
My point is that it didn't matter whether JJ would make a difference or not.
You are then firing all your weapons and hoping to settle down your qb.
Are you trying to say this never happpens.

    Answer one question for me,
Would Steve Spurrier stick with JL this long?
    I rest my case!

Right but sometimes one play can change the outcome of the game.

    This is "what if"

But what if that 1st down was run for instead of that crappy pass? Who Knows so Jefferson in at that moment of the game would have extended the drive and could have changed the outcome!

Um no, and I'm not defending Lee, I think he is god awful, I'm just saying to make a change in a close battle would have been crazy.

I'm just saying the outcome of the game would more then likely be the same, but who knows.
