I have to agree with the timing of the fake punt, though. As much as I was hoping LSU would put 50 on them, I don't like CUM and Bob Stoops for this very reason - they go way out of their way to embarrass other teams. LSU came close to laying 50 on them without the fake punt - didn't need it. But I'm guessing CLM was just trying to keep the ball away from the GA Tech offense, not necessarily trying to run up the score.
