Correct. He hasn't even signed on the dotted line. Way premature to predict anything on him. He certainly can't be enthused as to the QB coaching at LSU.
Mettenberger is going to come here because he sees an abysmal offense, and Les and crew will tell him that he will get a shot at the starting quarterback job. He wants to play in the SEC and I think the other team on his radar is Texas A&M.
For all we know, Les has already told him that changes on O will be made, meaning GC will be gone. :geauxtige
How is that true of Lee? He's already saved us twice this season and he was playing good against Auburn before he injured his wrist. JJ on the other hand couldn't get anything going except for a drive that Lee started. Every other drive he had ended bad.
Lee may yet be salvageable by a new OC. But even after those comeback wins he still isn't being allowed to carry the full load of the position, and I have to wonder why. And I still don't know if 3 years of Crowton as QB coach hasn't negatively affected his decision-making. At least if we get Mettenberger we can start fresh with a new OC.
