1. IMHO, we already have more tools to work with than UF did last year with the implementation of the spread. With JR leaving for the NFL, now is the perfect time for this change. Both Flynn and Perriloux should thrive under this type of offense.
  2. Yep. He will put our QBs in position to succeed, even with the lack of experience.
  3. I went on GoDucks to see what they were saying. It was the typical "glad he's gone" response to his depature. Have yet to find a pure, untainted analysis of him from them since they sound a bit bitter that he found greener pastures...MUCH greener, actually...
  4. And alot less NEON yellow.
  5. Crowton fits his offesne to the talents he has. He won't put a drop back QB in the typical Meyer type spread, altghough he will run a lot from the shot gun. He won't recruit only small scatback type RB's either. Go try and find film of his offesnes while he was thye Bear OC. He didn;t run any spread there. At Oregon he ran a much more traidtional O when he had a drop back style QB, then he ran more of a spread with this running QB. He, like every OC, is much better when he has a QB that is a great passer who can run.(like RP and Flynn:))
  6. yellow typically exemplifies dead grass, if i'm not mistaken.
  7. The presence of Crowton with his reputation for constructing aggressive passing teams could definately be a factor in McKnight and Tolliver committing to LSU.
  8. Does anyone know when Crowton is supposed to report for duty?
  9. He already is. At breakfast this morning, he was game planning some plays on a napkin (ala Sean Payton).
  10. Not sure if he will be reporting for duties at this time but this is what the
    AP says.
