    How is that any different from affirmative action/diversity admissions for non-athletes?

    If I understand you correctly if a student couldn't get in the school not being an athlete then they can't get in as an athlete. Interesting concept with a strong integrity component; it doesn't have a chance of getting implemented IMO.

    The reason is that the big loosers would be the Big Ten Schools, private schools, I'm guessing ND has two sets of standards - but I don't know, UTexas takes a hit, probally USC, and a lot of others. Likely the SEC would see a power shift.

    What happens to basketball powers? One and done stars are just done.

    I actually think it would be beneficial to LSU.
