Yesterday, Athlon Sports reported this regarding 5-star recruit Latwan Anderson:

He is officially committed but not signed by WVU. USC was in the mix but a visit never materialized post-Signing Day. He is rumored to be considering Miami as well. WVU is still in the lead, but he has yet to make his official decision.

    Compare that to LSU RBs:

    2009 (9-4 season)

    #1 senior Scott -- 542 yards (4.67 YPC)
    #2 senior Williams -- 368 (5.26 YPC)

    2008 (8-5 season)
    #1 junior Scott -- 1,174 yards (5.41 YPC)
    #2 junior Williams -- 417 yards (5.02 YPC)

    2007 (12-2 season) NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

    #1 senior Hester -- 1,103 yards (4.90 YPC)
    #2 sophomore Williams -- 478 yards (6.83 YPC)

    2006 (11-2 season)
    #1 junior Hester -- 440 yards (4.68 YPC)
    #2 freshman Williams -- 436 yards (5.74 YPC)

    2005 (11-2 season)
    #1 senior Addai -- 911 yards (4.87 YPC)
    #2 junior Vincent -- 488 yards (4.03 YPC)

I think WVU can put up a good fight, but I would be surprised if they beat us at home. We have more talent, a tough home crowd, and we compete in a tougher conference than they do. The key wil be to put them away early and never let up; I've had enough of screwing around until midway trough the third quarter.

We will be facing a very good program. Its not the W Va of a few years ago that were better and more diverse. It all starts and ends with which LSU teams shows up. If Miles and staff do their job, the players do theirs LSU should win this one fairly convincingly. Too much talent as well as talented depth. If LSU is focused then I have no doubts LSU wins this but if we LSU play poorly W Va is prime for the possible upset. W Va and North Carolina arent our usual cupcake non-conference games. They arent powers, but very solid programs. We will know a lot about LSU early on. The team could prove its back or those games could be the start to a dismal season. Im already excited for the start of the season and staying positive with high expectations.

LSU must contain Divine and White or whoever is the QB. The OL and DLs are huge in this one.

A snowball where? In hell? In Nome? This I need to know in order to assess the probabilities.

Red would say that a snowball in hell has a better chance than a snowball at the North Pole.

Any team can beat any team at any given time. This is why they actually play the games.

Did anyone think Troy had a snowball's chance in hell of getting a 28 point lead on us at home in 08? Apparently, at the least, Troy did.

Did anyone think LSU had a snowball's chance in hell at that point of coming back and beating them? At the very least, LSU did.

Does WVU have a chance? Of course they do.
