The past week this site has pretty much gone to hell with people like you showing up looking for information so they can feel like the big man at the water cooler or down on the shrimp boat, wherever it is you happen to work. I ignored all the Saban bs until today, simply because of the posts of people like you. As soon as this thing is resolved, I'm sure you'll disappear with the rest of them. You know LSU fans huh? So that means you probably went down to Wal-Mart and bought a nice LSU hat after the Sugar Bowl, maybe even a t-shirt or two so you could fit in with your buddies. Since you are such a die-hard, why don't you go ahead and contribute that $12 and join up here? After all, you'll be around for years to come. Right?

First you profess to tell Saban what to do and when to do it. Then you profess to knowing where I work and why I'm here. Damn you are a smart one. Tell us all oh mighty cranium how will the stock market turn in the days to come?

My original post stated emphatically to stop the Saban bs. It was YOUR post that criticized me for doing that. Attention deficit is a terrible thing.

My annual TAF contribution speaks for itself.

Oh golly. 12 bucks. Do I get a nifty membership card or a secret spy ring? Perhaps a pair of Mickey Mouse ears?

Look, I didn't come here to bash you or anyone else. I'm here to try and get some information on what's going on with Saban. It's important to me. And probably like you I'm sick and tired of hearing so-called fans blast Saban because he isn't making a decision at a time that is convenient to them.
I apologize for the unkind words but this thing has really pushed my buttons.

I don't profess to tell Saban anything. He is a grown man responsible for his own decisions. This is precisely why I have ignored most of the posts around here. This particular thread addressed the timing of his announcement, I thought it was worthwhile, since whether you will admit it or not another week and a half of this does matter, to players, recruits, the administration etc. And it was you who originally accused me of being a Burger King flunky; I merely returned the favor.

Your original post accused Rex of not being a true LSU fan. Who are you to determine who is or isn't a true fan? I threw it back at you, obviously you didn't care for it. At least now you see the other side's perspective. It's foolish to question someone's loyalty to LSU because their opinion differs from yours.

Great, you contribute to TAF. So do many others. Most are fans, others are more interested in a tax right off. I don't concern myself with that, except I do get annoyed by the fact that I am forced to sit with different people every week because the tickets are purchased as a right off and given to anyone, whether they give a damn about LSU or not.

    .

I didn't come here to bash anyone either, but I do have a problem when someone questions another's loyalties to LSU. I'm pretty sure Rex's comments were made because he was more interested in the university's welfare at this point. The longer this drags on the worse it is for LSU. Saban knows this is something he wants, if the Dolphins meet his demands. It shouldn't take another week and a half to get this done. I also apologize for the unkind words, and like you I have grown tired of the infighting produced by this situation.

From what I'm hearing, the Fins have finally made their offer (as of tonight). So it shouldn't be long now before we know something. Unless of course there is a counter offer. Then who knows?
