Don't want to get people overly excited, but there are a lot of rumblings...

I really like this guy. Not the "best name" out there. Came out of Arkansas. Like the constant full-ct presing/running his teams implement. Spark interest back in :bball: . Not a very high price tag either.

Fits in very well to the athletic team we have. Must go 9-10 deep.

Seems like The General is looking to get out. You don't know until you ask.

If this news is true, it makes the most sense for the moment. You do 2 very smart things in dropping Brady now:

1.) Allow Butch Pierre and audition as HC. If he can manuever this team to a winning SEC record, it would bode well for him in a chance to take the job permanantly.

2.) It would allow LSU to get in on Tim Floyd ASAP. I do not beleive Floyd wants to coach in L.A., so the Tigers would have a great chance to lure him to B.R.

Now, some sourses say Floyd would not want to replace "friend" and former assistant Brady, but I think he would if Brady's firing is truly independent of LSU's interest in Floyd.

If we buy out Brady's contract, he'll have lots of time to pursue other 'passions'

I'd like to see them give Eddie Sutton's son Sean a close look. I work with a big time Kansas guy and he talks about what a great young coach he is. But, he's an OSU grad and from what this guy says and is waiting his turn for when Eddie retires and then will take over their program. Based on this, if it's true, I don't know if he'd be willing to leave or not. Guess it depends on how much longer his father wants to coach. Maybe some of the Okie State fans on here could shed some light on it.

What's the deal with the Brady/Gold club references? Did he have a Mike Price type event or something?
