Zackley, you just never know. FTR, I have had dog, in Korea. They sell dog for like 20 bucks a pound and they don't have a problem with strays. What they did not do is take my dog, the same dog many of us would have went to war over, and serve him on a stick.
Geaux ahead. A cow will not protect your property. A german shepard will. A cow is in most cases, an owners commodity, a dog is a mans best friend. An owner has the same legal protection for his cow and his dog but does the cow have a name? Folks do correlate a difference.
I did not say they deserved the same legal rights as humans. I said they share similarities in how the law protects both of their rights.
I never took a stand for cows or dogs simply that IMO dogs are regarded differently then cows by humans. I am also not taking a stand for animals to receive equal rights as humans.
No, I don't but no more then knowing how Doug feels about neighbors children playing in his front yard or how that hot bar tender chick feels about Bob the drunk rolling in for his nooner. In either case I could care less. I am a little more inclined to care for my dog and his treatment. That is prolly why you don't find dog at Kroger's but you find cow in every configuration imaginable.
I am glad you chose comparisons between dogs and cows to argue.
