You can't really argue with the stats during the game, he didn't make much noise until the last drive. However, some people want to give all credit to the UF lineman and also call Dorsey overrated, which discredits the UF guy anyway.
About Skip, he's prob my favorite analyst on First Take because I LOVE the emotion he brings up in the other "analysts". Skip is most definitely not an idiot because everything he says is backed up by facts and logic. Ok, maybe more facts than logic . I respect him because he knows where he stands on issues and doesn't flip-flop like everyone else. He most certainly does not go with the ESPN agenda because every stance he takes, he is the minority on.

Dorsey was contained pretty well whether or not by one or two players but he will bounce back.

I agree that he takes the minority position, because that's his 'schtick'. I disagree that he backs up his takes with facts. They're only opinions and opinions are neither right nor wrong.

Dorsey was held more times than a newborn baby at a family reunion.

mr. dominated dorsey received votes for the heisman this week. while i am not a fan of the heisman (it's all hype any more) i don't think he would have gotten votes if he was "dominated".

I don't care if he was dominated. We won the game.

The mere fact that teams use 2-3 Offensive Linemen to contain just him, tells me that he dominated them before the season even began. :)

Dorsey's name wasn't called very much for two reasons (IMO):

    1) Tebow rolled out quite a bit. He's not a guy to sit in the pocket and just wait for someone to hit him.

    2) A great blocking job by the freshman who certainly had help at times, but overall did better than anyone else ever has against Glenn.

Glenn still came up bug when it counted, but he was far from dominated. The Gators schemed and planned for him and it showed. UF did a great job against Glenn last season, too. They're not completely retarded. They are coaching in the SEC after all and have a BCS Championship ring for their troubles last year.

Wouldn't "neutralized" be a better term? I mean, if a center or guard is DOMINATING a DT or LB, he is getting pancake blocks and making his man look stupid. This was hardly the case.

Dorsey was just held/blocked fairly well during the game, and when it came down to it, he unleashed the beast. :po:
