I listened to the Miles show tonight and Les said that Ducet will not be ready for this game. He said he expected him to be ready for Auburn.

Re: Ducet will not play against Florida. Yeah, and he basically said the same thing in his post-practice interview - said he might not even dress. Too bad, but Byrd, Toliver, Mitchell and company have been getting some time and I'm feeling better and better about it all. When Doucet comes back for Kentucky or later, we'll be ready for push to the crystal football...:crystal:
Re: Ducet will not play against Florida. I was talking to co-worker today that is second-cousin's to him. I asked her if he was playing and she said that he wasn't because it is still too early to take a chance with it. Remember, this is his last year, we wouldn't want to mess up his draft value.
Re: Ducet will not play against Florida. I was expecting this announcement. I wouldn't want to take a chance on hurting him further and missing more games later. I wish he would've done the same thing to Flynn to let him heal. The young guys will have good games. They are pretty bad. I just hope Lafell is 100% to take some of the load off the youngins. Hopefully Flynn does a good job of getting the ball to them and settles in early.
