You're pretty much the only person in the world in the "VY needs to be a WR" camp. Who cares if he's not a conventional quarterback? He's got the Titans in playoff contention when most people would've expected them to be picking in the top 5 in the 07 draft.
I have to point out the obvious irony of this thread and that the JR haters are either not showing up, or have quietly been converted. Russell has not played a down since the Arkansas game when several of us said he had put the doubters to rest and would be a top 10 pick as a result of how he finished his year. At the same time, many people here argued that he would go very late in the first or possibly 2nd round or even later. Amazing how a few articles online in the past month have changed the attitudes of so many, when most of us recognized this all along. Does this mean there is a chance that one day.....gulp...umm....Miles might be considered a good coach as well??!! Wishful thinking....???:thumb::thumb:
I bet Nicky wishes he had VY this year instead of CLEO LEMON?!! VY is not a Mike Vick type. He runs, but he doesn't run around IN the pocket. He runs when he knows it is the best option, and he's usually right. Vick runs around in the pocket everytime he takes a snap, whether he eventually runs with the ball or not. VY's got, what, 8 wins in a row? Speaks for itself.:thumb:

Vince Young would not help Miami unles he brought Travis Henry with him, along with the Titans defense. You better check some stats before you start anointing VY. He has played well for a rookie but the schedule helped a lot with some breaks. Buffalo was in position to win the game with a field goal but there was a strong wind agains them and they have a weak legged field goal kicker. Instead, Buffalo went for it on fourth down and didn't make it. In the week before the Titans defense scored three touchdowns on long interceptionsc and fumble recoveries. The Titans defense had about twice as many yards in the game as VY's offense. They beat the Colts who can't stop anyones running game. To his credit he shows a lot of poise but he has a long way to go to be able to lead a team to a Super Bowl
