Must be nice One thing I can tell you for sure is outside of Atlanta you don't find many Tigers in Georgia. A bunch of Auburn pussycats but very few Panthera Tigris. Small town Georgia is Dawg heaven and they hate my flag, my license plate, my hats, my jacket, my shirts, my bumper stickers, my beer holders, my helmet, my son's mock uniform, etc. Been showing them all proudly this season but never so boldly as this last week. Pre game night and I just left Kroger wearing an LSU shirt and hat and received no less than 20 sneers, snickers, looks of overconfidence, evil eyes, and a few direct comments of along the lines of "it sucks to be you" and "enjoy your suckass drive home from the Georgia Dome after we beat your lame team". My next door neighbor has an inflatable UGA in his front yard specifically to offset my flag. Do you think I will celebrate tomorrow night? NAAAHHH!!
I would get roasted out here if I flew such a flag. You know what I think about that? Nothing...fug 'em! :geaux:
mesquite, painting your car gold with purple tiger stripes would be the coolest thing since sliced bread. One of my friends has 2 vans with tiger stripes on them.
Re: Must be nice And just what does your neighbor do with his inflatable dog? If he is into that sort of thing he can get the Love Ewe, an inflatable sheep from this site. http://www.muttonbone.com/
I'm smack dab in the middle of longhorn country, Austin TX where noone let's us forget about the cotton bowl. Flags have been up all week ALL over town and I think we actually have some respect from the locals....I also get at least 3-4 "Geaux Tigers" running around the lake each week in my various college tees... Great to be a tiger!
Since I came to Ocala for this semester, LSU stuff has been all over my truck... even after the Florida debacle. Flags on both sides, LSU plate in front, LSU Geaux Tigers! plate frame in back, Louisiana State University sticker in old english on the back window... 2 well worn n torn LSU hats rest on the dash. I stick out.
Saw a black pickup in Coppell yesterday with several LSU flags on it. I went home and put my flag in.
Not many of us here in KC. In a little over a year, I've seen 2 other cars with LSU stickers/license plates etc. Oh well...in August, Dallas will have at least one more LSU fan.
