I don't really think Oeaux will run a two QB system. Brennan will start and play until either we have a safe lead, he sucks or he gets hurt. I wouldn't count on any garbage time in 2 of the first 3 games.

Seems unlikely based on what we saw last year.

Last year Etling was the safe choice and Brennan got some meaningful reps as the "future" QB. This year it's probable that Brennan is the safe choice and we have no future QB to get ready. Unless Narcisse really shows vast improvement in his passing by fall camp. Oeaux is just playing his cards the way he thinks will help keep both Narcisse and McMillan from transferring.

I was disappointed that Brennan didn’t get more reps. I’m hopeful Narcisse will get some legit PT.

My expectations are pretty low for 2018, but to be fair they would be low if the last dude was here too. The schedule is brutal. And I’m just not confident, so being pleasantly surprised for me would be anything greater than 7 wins.

The Miami game sets the tone. If our lines are deep and good, we can make it.

I fully expect O to prove what he is, a d line coach. He is in over his head and his personality is not suited to be head guy at a program like this. He has been tripping over his own feet since he got the job, but like Les at the end, the team won in spite of him. I surely don’t expect us to improve anymore than where we are, I’m just hoping he doesn’t get us sanctions before he leaves. I haven’t heard of any discretions yet but I do here he is still doing what he has always done and we know how successful that was. Hope I’m surprised but I’m still not seeing where he has changed.
