Why does the content of this article make me angry? (Not Dubois mind you) To the clear headed, thoughtful posters of the board, does this ring true? I mean, I see it in the news, we hear it on ESPN, we read it in the national sports rags, but where does the truth lie? Is there a reason that this insanity goes on year after year? What is it that makes us so distasteful to the national media? Is it population, viewership, endorsements, our jersey colors, what? I wish this were reprinted somewhere that EVERYONE could read it, not just us in Louisiana. ldskule:
Let the media think what they want. Let them make the excuses. When the opposition is sitting in a tub of ice, wondering what just hit them, we'll know. And the rest of the country took notice Saturday. The pollsters have all jumped on the band wagon yet, but the rest of America knows. They're just scared to admit it. They're scared to admit that even after this year is over, and our Starting QB, WR, FB, a chunk of our defense are all gone, we'll still be great. They saw what our 2nd string did Saturday night. They all saw it. Guess what America, there's even more where that came from. This is our year. And this team just made a statement. "Get the phuck outta our way. We got a title to win. And I feel sorry for anyone that try's to stop us."
Finally, someone puts into words what I'm feeling but can put it together. Thank you Mr. Dubois. I will do my part and post it on boards and send it to writers from other media outlets. CLM can coach! This is a very special team and year. :helmet:
