Is that a blind or a primitive bar in the bushes?

Bushes? Bushes are a thing of the past. We cave men like to do our quack hunting out on the open plains nowadays.

Oh I get the innuendo, "bushes". I was born in 1984, right about the time they stopped making them….good to know your grossness spans decades to the stone, I mean bush age….:)

But you missed the "quack" part.

Anyway, I was actually glad you weren't posting pics of another big hunt since I haven't been able to go yet this split that just opened last Sat.

I had my best hunt Saturday, had about 2000 ducks on my pond. I was in a field that was holding water, the max width was about 100 yards, the length was about a mile. At the end was the mass of ducks, I was in the middle. I should have limited, I was a bit over excited early on. I am shooting horribly into large groups. I hit almost every single I had! No excuse with the heavy fog. [IMG]

With these big fronts pushing in the ducks are starting to show up in pretty good numbers. I'll either be on a bayou or the Miss. river when these fields and timber holes lock up.
Ducks in the morning, bucks in the evening. Sleeping when I can fit it in.

Man what a wonderful opening weekend for Teal season here in Texas. Could not have been better weather! I wish we would have had more ducks. Didn't get limits, but had enough shooting. Great weekend. Headed to Canada next weekend to hunt up there for a week, will miss the rest of Texas teal season.

Don't hunt the ducks anymore but live on river near marshes. Early teal season was something yesterday. Sounded like a war down there.
