I see your point, it's a good one.

I wish we could play that game again, I continue to think Oregon was the better team. We didn't look like it, but we were.

in 48 hours and 10 minutes I won't have to talk about Auburn anymore.

When the game starts, the country will start talking about Oregon.

    Go Ducks

so you aren't wearing green colored glasses? please excuse my hubris, i just wanna get this straight...

first, you basically say that chip kelly's scheme and 'mantra' makes it unnecessary to have experience and cohesion on the offensive line. oh right, another attempt at mitigating an obvious LSU advantage. that seems to be common among some duck fans on this board. let's see how well your offense can operate if your green oline is constantly giving up penetration in the backfield. any other team in the country would have problems under these circumstances, but not oregon eh?

next, only writers with the right 'style' aren't sinister, rating-chasing hacks that only write for 'lust, money, fame, influence, and power'. right. only the ones that agree with your specific notions are credible. i also can't believe you're taking chip's statements as impartial and reasonable, he is supposed to say what he said...he is the head coach and is supposed to be excruciatingly biased.

and lastly, the auburn comment... you lost because auburn dictated the terms and flow of the game. not many college football are buying that you got dominated. but, we sure as hell ain't buying that you should have dominated auburn. it was obvious that there was a large enough disparity between the lineman that they were able to impose THEIR game on the ducks. you were forced into a situation that you were not prepared for. nobody wants to play oregon in THEIR game. that's why you lost. shoulda coulda woulda.

support your team, but don't make stuff up.

You got me there, no denying it. I'm GiantDuckFan and my glasses are Lemon Yellow with Emerald green lens.

I said Oregon's style might help perhaps.

I'm talking about sports columnists, Canzano, and Schroeder. On this site is a thread where most everyone has agreed that those two asses, are each equivalent to your own Guilbeau the Dildeaux. The Register Guard's beat writer, Rob Mosely is a fine sports news journalist. He describes the game; situations, plays, players, injuries, etc. His intent is not to think of something to say that will piss you off.

The quote you mention was actually from our line coach, not Chip.

And yet, the game was tied with :02 seconds left. Imposed their... meh.

Good to hear he looked good to you.

A lot of glowing reports about Bennett as a redshirt, fans were excited to finally get to see him. Overly high expectation I guess, most didn't think he played that well. I think he has all the stuff, though true freshmen Marcus Mariota has been wowing the coaches since he arrived. Chip said he's pressing Bennett on the depth chart, though they want to redshirt him.

I have to say a lot of the Oregon fans who have come here have been a joy to converse with. I've learned a lot about your school and while I've frequented a USC forum for years, I have to confess you guys seem less snobby on the whole, though obviously the sample size is different. Best of luck to you guys in the PAC-12 this year, but I hope you guys show up sluggish Saturday night which seems a trend for Oregon at times in openers.

    Thanks for the kind words.

Sorry to say Oregon started slowly/badly maybe 8 or 9 times last year. They come back hard and fast though.

    those probably look pretty snazzy

looked very homer-ish, thus hypocritical, on my monitor. sorry for the misunderstanding.

you were held under 20 points and 75 yards rushing. they imposed their style of play onto your ducks, who were very good and very dangerous last year. auburn would have lost a shoot out, we all know this.
