Duke Energy another polluter

    The electric power industry is huge and its been around a long time. So while its regulated it also played the game longer than most other industries. In some cases it's almost quasi governmental. For example local governments and state governments like New York subsidize power rates as a business incentive. So anything that drives up power costs can be self defeating.

    I'm not saying its the whole reason - but it contributes.

    So Duke energy (after polluting the shit out of the Dan River) has in fact intentionally dumped 61 million gallons of toxic coal ash water into another river in North Carolina.

    BP recently had issues and ended up spilling more oil in one of the great lakes. This shit will never stop... our childrens children will start giving birth to 2 headed babies.
