Doucet, Early Joseph III, 19, 1000 block of Alexander Circle, St. Martinville, entering/remaining where forbidden, resisting an officer.

From the arrest records in the Laf. Daily Advertiser.

Wonder if this is Early Doucet from LSU???? Early is from St Martinville.

I was there when he got arrested. It was at nitetown in Lafayette. It was sort of a wrong place wrong time situation. There was like 20 fights going on inside and outside and alot of people were getting kicked out and Early was walking out the door when a couple of dick cops really blindsided the [censored] out of him and cuffed him. Also, Jessie Daniels, #31, also nearly got in a fight in the parking lot with his cousin and then his ride left him so I had to bring him home and he was really pissed.

    Wow Really surprised.
Early made good grades and is from a good family.

The article makes his behavior sound pretty bad.

I wouldn't read too much into it at this point. Who knows what the situation was that resulted in the arrest. Maybe the arresting cops are USL fans!?!? Or alumni even?

it doesn't suprise me because of some of the things i've heard about from some clubs in lafayette. i also know people personally who had to leave because of things they weren't involved with and the people who started the trouble stayed. i also have a friend who got sucker punched and when he got back up the bouncers jumped him and he was arrested, all over a x that had the guy sucker punch him. i may be mistaken but isn't that club one that had a lawsuit against them for racial problems?

But it sends a message to the other players that they better be careful who and where they hang around.

Yeah...It wouldn't be the first time that some pigs arrested the wrong person...Just because they wanted to show a crowd they weren't playing...I've seen some stuff like that go down many a Monday night around 2:05am outside of Tigerland venues...
