Ranking Auburn #21 is a slap in the face. I mean I see what the polls think for losing a qb and a different schedule, but #21 is a bit to high I think.

You're right, they should be ranked lower.....oh, 100 'ought to be about right. :hihi: :thumb: Just kidding.

I thought that was a little low for Auburn as well. After all, EVERY Aubie fan is claiming that they are having "the best recruiting class under Tubberville" this year. Even with their loses, they should still, IMO, be ranked in the top 10--no lower than 15. .....and this coming from someone who wishes they would do away with the preseason polls--all polls--until after the season starts.

I don't think the 'best recruiting class under Tubberville' has a lot to do with next year. They will all be freshman, how many freshman make an immediate impact? Next year has more to do with our sophomores and juniors.

Number 21 isn't too bad considering we are replacing one of the best quarterbacks in school history, and 2 of the best running backs to come through the plains.

I think we will be a bit higher in the AP and Coaches pre-season next year because they tend to go more off of what happened last year than anything else.

My prediction is for us to be around 13-17 next year.

Except when ya'll LOSE to us....Then I bet its a little bit bigger of a deal than what you are willing to show.

Also, Tubby thought it was a big enough moment to light up a cigar after one Aubie win over LSU. You don't normally do that to an opponent that you know you're going to beat. Think he'll light one up with a victory over La Tech?? Don't kid yourself.

Auburn fans still cry about 2003's loss at LSU.

    They never stop
