Somewhat surprised the Tigers are favored.

I'm not, I'd be surprised if they weren't. Mississippi State had a blocked punt on that set them up for a score on a directional kick that shouldn't have been blocked, and a kickoff return for a TD. Southern Miss fought them hard. They have issues on the defensive side of the ball, LSU should be able to pound Mississippi State. Prescott may have a decent game but he can't beat us alone.

    LSU by 30.

    Are you giving 30 points?

I would leave my wallet closed fot that number, but we cover even with a b game. Cowbells are a shell of who they were last year.

I think missing the Mcneese game hurts more than some think. Hopefully they'll be ready.

This is my fear. They really could have used the reps for the new players and the new schemes/formations on defense. Also, a warm up game could have helped Harris' confidence and his rapport with the receivers.

If you wanna be the devil's advocate, you could argue we didn't put anything on film for Miss St to study and we didn't get any injuries.

All things considered, I wished we'd got the game in, largely because I wanted to watch it.

I think the spread should be closer to 2, and 30 seems like a pipe dream. I'd be happy to win regardless of the score...

A ton of improvement is made between the first and second game, I wouldn't bet on a victory much less one by 30 points. This team is still a huge unknown.
