Then, you remember how badly people hated his guts.

They used to call in to the radio show and ask him to meet them on chimes or behind the library and shit so they could kick hiss ass. Man no LSU QB has experienced as much vitriol as Howard IMO. Death threats, constant fear of getting your ass kicked.

You must have watching different shows and listening to different radio stations. Its more like people were questioning why Guidry was playing at all when we had a QB as great as Tommy Heisman, uh Hodson.

Howard had big brass balls to return the next year and play like it never happened after taking all of that crap.

Since I was in college at the time, I didn't own a TV at all in my dorm room, and I certainly didn't listen to radio shows. I'm going by what I would hear in the stadium.

You poor deprived soul! Too bad I didn't know you then. I could have gotten you a TV for free. At the end of every semester students move out of their appartments in Tigerland. They throw away all of their stuff including TV's that work. All you have to do is ride around and scout out the dumpsters. You don't even have to dumpster dive. Most of them just set their TV on the concrete next to the dumpster.

I didn't really miss having a TV. I was rarely in my room, except to study for a while after class and to sleep. Otherwise, I was hanging out with friends.
