UCLA, Georgia, and Notre Dame all ranked ahead of LSU lost. Hell was Ole Miss ranked ahead of LSU too? So that's 3, 6, 7, 8 all losing.
Don't think so, it should be as the top 5: TCU Ohio State Michigan State Baylor LSU as long as Fournette is playing LSU won't drop with a 20 point win.
Call me a sunshine pumper, but I'm NEVER "disappointed" when LSU wins, but that's just me. You might observe that you mentioned "a few" disappointing losses. Perspective...try to have some.
And the narrative of the game, according to ESPN a few minutes ago, was that LSU, on the back of Fournette's 234 yards and 3 TDs "easily" coasted past EMU. All of this was while showing Fournette's 75-yard TD run. The pollsters will only look at the score, which looks fine (though we didn't like the 22 points EMU scored.)
Sunshine pumper. Watching Notre Dame lose and Clemson almost lose made me feel a little better. Our lack of passing game is FRUSTRATING!!!!!
I also got a great deal of satisfaction out of seeing Ole Miss lose. If only, Mississippi State was any good and could have beaten A & M, it would have been great. Oh, I also enjoyed that last week's "super hot" team, UCLA, lost tonight. And Oregon is losing to Colorado currently. Things are rarely as bleak as they appear.
I think it's so easy to look at all of LSU's issues and forget that there are teams in the top 15 that have just as many issues as LSU does. I'm guilty of that, for sure....But it's still going to come down to our 2 biggest enemies. Florida and Alabama. I don't think A&M can stop Fournette. I hope LSU can stop A&M. I think LSU also runs all over Ole Miss. Again though the defense is going to have to stop them. UF in my opinion has the best defense in the SEC, and Alabama the 2nd best. All these kinks can be worked out before LSU plays these guys. As frustrating as tonight was, and it was pretty frustrating, LSU can win a championship this year. The real enemy, is staring right back at the Tigers when they look in the mirror.
