It's this simple. No negative plays on O. We have to get 4 + on 1st down to or it's 3 and out. No turnovers. Gotta play smart. We CAN win this game. Gotta want it. Gotta coach for it.
I expect this to be another classic game and I expect to come out on top. Aranda's D is salty. It's going to be hard to replace that dude. Eaux and Aranda are a good combo, with Ensminger not doing anything too fancy, just putting our talent in the position to succeed. Next chapter was written tonight, so far it's a damn good book.
It's crazy to think Ole Miss scored 43 on Bama. Our D is legit. I don't think Bama scores 30 on us unless it gets away early. I just don't see that happening though. They seem to get better with every quarter.
If we don't turn the ball over, or at minimum don't give up a Bama defensive TD then I think LSU has a real shot.
Actually LSU fans were in an uproar over Ensminger being too cute and too fancy, with the peak criticism coming when he got our QB knocked the f out and gave Ole Miss 8 points to tie the game at the end of the half instead of just running the damn ball. Was second time in the first half we gave Ole Miss the ball by getting too cute (they got no points off the first one bc LSU INT). Hell when Kiffen got too cute calling the exact same play E did that blew up in our face, Saban gave Kiffin that famous ass-chewing
