Was crusing a few boards and came across this diddy from the cowpies...

    1. We all remember how , when we started our dominance in the series how LSU backed out like the true cowards they are.We must look past that for our own sake.

    2. They continue to raid Texas for prime talent with or without games in Texas.

    3. We( not L$U) need a better presence in the D/FW area. Those of you in the Houston area just do not understand how the Okies and the Great Satan dominate the media and how inflated they are puffed . A giant weekend every year in the metroplex helps them beyond belief.

4.We need at least one marque non confrence game each year. LSU would provide that .

    5. Those of you who argue for the game to be played in Houston fail to realize , College Station , IS basically a suburb of Houston now and WE are in reality the home team for real D-1 football in the Bayou City.
OU (Norman is closer to D/FW , than College Station or Austin and a straight shot up 35 at that)

6.DFW is talent rich. We must start getting a better presence here, in all sports.

7."Wait and See" will cost us dearly. We must be proactive.

Face it, LSU is cajun for teasip . Its a natural Hate rivalry . I really don't want their fans coming to College Station and trashing campus again ( remember the spray paint to the Clayton Williams Center in 87)

Now the question of questions, when we were playing LSU , how were we doing in getting kids from Louisiana? How are we doing since the series stopped?
Its seems when we had LSU on the schedule we always had at least 1-3 S T A R T E R S from Louisana .Since, then it seems we have really fallen off the Louisiana players radar.

Face it guys we need a D/FW presence and LSU on the schedule . ITS A WIN / WIN for "us"

Who cares what those idiots write, think or say? Their football program has fallen down to a much greater degree than I ever thought possible. The over-inflated sense of self-worth that they have is absolutely unbelievable, and, in many ways, their smart-aleck piss-ant attitude is very much like Bauburn's. This is because both have been the second-best university in their state for so long, that it's affected them mentally.

We got a good sense of these jokers during our run to the Final Four. Remember how cogent and reasonable their fans seemed?

two reasons why TAMU cant be talking (there are many more, just cant fit).

1.) Lets see Texas AM was 5-6 (3-5 in confrence) and there coach has been there since 03 compared to LSU who was 11-2 (7-2 in confrence) in 2005 which was Miles first year.

2.) LSU went to a bowl and dominated, while TAMU was sitting at home saying "coulda, woulda, shoulda"

Much of that post by the aTm guy makes a lot of sense. They have lost much of their presence in Louisiana while we have not lost any of our's in Texas, renewing the rivalry may just be better for them than us. And getting the game in the DFW area would most likely be best for both schools in the recruiting wars.

It will be even sweeter when the Cajuns beat them AGAIN at their house this year.

I just hope that we can stay healthy after our game with the Tigers in week 1. :thumb:

Bill Byrne is documented in saying that he won't be playing LSU anytime soon. We fans have nothing to say about it.

The Aggie has a point. They need us more than we need them. We recruit well in east Texas and A&M recruits poorly in Louisiana. No need to give them any chance to impress a recruit.
