Been waiting for this one...Could be special. Depending on his size from here on out he could be a DE/LB.

Interesting prospect with a good list of offers. Did he make any of the LSU camps?

for a "3 star" that list of offers is pretty damn strong. Hell it's strong for a solid 4 star. Glad the coaches found him and got him on board.

With recruiting going so well so early, if O wants him I'm on board. However he seems like a project very early in the recruiting cycle. Appears to be a LB unless he redshirts and really hits the weight room. Looks to be a Steele 3-4 rush LB. If his offer list is legit, he obviously has the talent, just needs to find a position that fits his body.

You look at Tyson Jackson, Michael Brockers, etc, too many kids come into LSU needing the transformation. The workout plans, meal plans, etc. So many of these kids live off Pizza, Burgers, Taco's, etc. The staff looks at a kid, can he add weight, will his body allow it, how's his footwork, etc, too many things come into play. I just got an invite to a college camp in Tx for Saturday. A good staff can find talent, can develop it, can coach it. Coach O has sent a number of players into the NFL, a number in the first round, not many coaches can claim this, he is one of a few.

Met a guy at dinner last night who helps scout the Louisiana & SW Miss area's for a few head coaches. He's retired so isn't on anyone's payroll so don't get worried about breaking the rules. Anyway, he said that he would wait on giving this young man a commitable offer until he proves he is serious about working out and developing his senior year. Guess our coaches saw what they liked at camp.
