    What if the Colts win, Crennel is hired, and decides to promote Edwards to DC? Or keep him on as LB coach or another position? Still very far from done...

    Shouldn't come to this

    Surely there are more than 2 possible candidates to be the DC at LSU?? If for some reason the Edwards thing doesn't work out, why then should it be a foregone conclusion that Clay gets the job?

    On a different topic, I realize there are 3 weeks left to signing date, BUT ... the fact that Miles has not secured one verbal commitment is a little troubling. True, several recruits confirmed their commitment to LSU, but I see no new commitments.

    Re Perilloux, very tiresome. I don't care where he goes. He could turn out to be a complete bust. He is obviously enjoying all the attention and is going to milk it for all it's worth. No 17 year old is worth all this fan angst.:dis:
