Like @Bengal B said, when I'm sick, I don't feel like making anything. Let a lone actually cooking something. I don't eat soup often but my favorite is split pea soup. When I make it I use left over holiday ham with the bone.

That's about how it is. My girlfriend says I just shovel my food in without tasting it, guess old army habits are hard to die. Guess I eat too fast or something.

I usually get the regular large eggs, but if I can find them I prefer brown eggs, usually free range. Just hard to find in the 5 dozen ct. boxes.

Try those burgers with nothing but the condiments you prefer. I'll usually just put some mustard and a little A1 on mine. No bun... too many empty calories.

When I'm sick, I generally crave a grape or cherry cream slush from Sonic, and usually nothing else.

I'll send you one from a Baton Rouge Sonic. I'm sure you don't want to eat or drink anything handled by a Dallas area cook or waitress about now

When I eat a burger without the bun instead of the usual fixings I put Heinz 57 sauce and Worcestershire Sauce on it. I will usually saute some onions and garlic to go with it. And sometimes ketchup

I mix the worcestershire in to the burger with a lipton oinion soup packet, maybe an egg or two with diced peppers. Grill then just add a little dab of A1 or whatever I'm feeling at the time.

Its ironic how this thread has evolved from eggs to what you eat when you're sick:D
