prediction: the biggest story about trump win in november will be that he got WAY WAY more of the black vote than anyone could have imagined.

biden has been removed from obama's side for so long that he doesnt have that strong asociation with the first black pres anymore. and trump is the kind of white guy blacks like. he doesnt act too educated or too cool for the normal joe six pack, or jose six pack or jamal six pack. blacks like a guy who likes power and pussy, like bill clinton.

if you are in the news for fucking sluts, yous a real nigga's nigga

did you see the tom hanks black jeopardy skit? it was genius. country boy trump voters and blacks, they are the same person. same values. love hoes, love money, love jesus

regarding my theory about blacks for trump, there is a story in the advocate today about folks waitin in line for early voting here in BTR.

    one photo caption says

"Mattie Woodard, 68, seated, initially planned to vote via absentee ballot, but instead decided to vote in-person: “Listening to Trump and all of his allegations about voter fraud, I wanted to make sure my vote counted." October 17, 2020 at Forest Community Park.

the lady is black. voter fraud is that kinda shit that sells in the black community. they dont trust the system. vote in person, vote trump

They hacked the servers at the DNC then used that information to favor Donald Trump and it crippled Clinton. I don't know how much more obvious it can be. Via Julian Assange they dripped out e-mails and conveniently timed after the Access Hollywood tape came out, etc. Rudolph Guiliani was on FOX news bragging about "what come's next..." Paul Manafort turned over internal polling from the campaign to a known Russian agent. These are all things that we know about it thru investigations and court filings. I never implied votes were altered so i don't know where you got that. Authoritarians like Putin, never allow anyone to run against him so what difference would it make? They all end up poisoned.

I want him to put conditions on their visits. I want access to their nuclear program in exchange for normalized relations. I want something other than Trump's fucking "love letters." I suppose your are suggesting that we should be coddling dictators now? Is that it?

I know you listened to the Bob Woodward recordings for his recent book. They were all over the news for days. Trump clearly told Woodward that he was withholding how severe the virus was because he didn't want to "create a panic." I am sure a google search will turn up the recording and you can listen for yourself. He didn't tell us how dangerous it was...not until over a month later. It's shameful and borderline criminal.

But aren't you cherry picking polls if you keep referring to the Trafalgar group polls? This season they have been the far right of polling and if you look at all of their polling Trump still wouldn't win if you want to take them literally. That said, the very same day as the most recent round of Trafalgar polls came out there have been a plethora, including Rasmussen, who have the race polled differently.

@Jmg especially in a crisis it takes much more than policy to be a leader. It takes an ability to unite the country behind a goal and make sure it has the means and will to reach it. In this case it is limiting the impact economically and addressing the health care challenge. Policy may change as the impact of the crisis changes. Trump cites Winston Churchill as an example but his leadership on Covid doesn’t compare to Winston. Winston never minimized the threat but in fact was honest that it would take sacrifice and everyone working together to overcome. Where has Trump come close to any of these things? Churchill understood that partisanship would not work and took Labor and Liberal parties into his cabinet. What bipartisanship had Trump shown? Before you say the Democrats are not helping, forget it. The duty of a true leader is to bridge the difference. No Martin
leadership is much more than policy. Trump has done nothing a real leader would.

The gap is too big to be bridged by anybody.

He didn’t even try. Had he done so he would have gained stature and likely pulled more into supporting him. By not trying he quit not a sign of a leader.

I don’t disagree but would argue that the Trafalgar polls account for the shy trump voter in their methodology, whereas others do not as far as I know. we’ll find out soon enough.... I hope

it’s ones of his failings, I think. he is consumed by us/them.

I read somewhere that if trump weren’t trump, he’d be reagan. I think there’s a lot of truth in that statement.
