Wrong again. In an emergency such as a hurricane or an earthquake or yes an epidemic we have always given leaders power to give orders that ordinarily aren’t acceptable. Much like a mandatory evacuation order they have the force of law as long as the emergency lasts. You created a false analogy
Dude, I called him winning way back in 16 when he was way behind in the polls. EYE AM the reason he won.
They cannot force you to leave your home. They cant. However, if you stay, you gotta tough it out yourself or be prepared to be SOL. This guy said it best: "A quarantine is when you restrict the liberty of people who are sick. And tyranny is when we, you restrict the liberty of people who are healthy," says Muise. https://reason.com/video/2020/05/29/are-the-covid-19-lockdowns-constitutional/
not true if you toldl me to stay inside for a hurricane you can shove that order up your ass i like to party during 'canes
Not everybody left during those mandatory evacuations. A few people even stayed in Grand Isle during the last hurricane. None of them are in jail
a few weeks ago i went to my parents house to do some random shit. i stayed outside. my dad comes out he says hey honkey come inside and watch the baseball game! it will rule! i really want to, but i tell him no thanks my dad is old and diabetic and has had open heart surgery. i had a very occasional and minor cough at the time. we have to take responsibility for our own decisions. now, will i go to LSU basketball and sit inside breathing with a crowd? hell yeah. i am the one who makes the risk calcultions. i know how much to protect myself and others. i need exactly zero advice from trump or anyone else
Anarchy... Kind of like the Pacific NW the last few years right? Kind of like the fake news media right? Kind of like a concerted effort across the Clinton campaign, the DNC, Obama administration, CIA, FBI and media to unseat a duly elected President right? Kind of like launching an impeachment of a duly elected President for something that didn't happen to distract attention from something that did happen right? Kind of like this on the garage door of a congressional candidate's home right?
