my understanding, albeit sketchy, is essentially the dems set up a drive by vote location where state law doesn’t allow for that provision, but I could be wrong. edited to add link: https://www.texastribune.org/2020/11/01/texas-drive-thru-votes-harris-county/
This is my favorite campaign ad of the season. Really well done. It might even fleetingly make @GiantDuckFan doubt his vote.
Here is what I know based on what I've read about it. The lawsuit went before the Texas Supreme Court who are all Republicans and they voted unanimously to allow the votes to count. I do not know what the law in Texas says but I figured if the Texas Supreme Court of all Republicans allowed the votes then they must be legal. I have a question about Trump's sowing seeds of doubt about the election and I think you are likely the only Republican around here who will give me an honest answer. We have several battleground states where we also have very important Senate races. Arizona, North Carolina, Michigan, Iowa and Georgia are all battleground states where there also hotly contested Senate races. What happens if Trump contests the results of an election in one of those states but the Senate candidate wins. Wouldn't that potentially also invalidate a Senate election where the Red guys won? There are a lot of risks to his approach imo.
if I thought his media manager wasn't catering to get votes, saying exactly what patriots want to hear, maybe I'd buy it, but I see it as propaganda bottom line with me is, I don't think trump gives a shit about America, I think he's a mega-egomaniacal lunatic who only cares about himself,.. if he's re-elected, I'll support him, America spoke, it's not unfair to give him another four years to try his things,.. truthfully, his Presidency hasn't been as horrible as I expected but as a person, he's clearly a stinking pile of shit
