The japs made the Nazi's look almost humane. I call them japs cause my uncle Bob Morel from Loureville was with the second wave of Marines at Tarawa. He never called them Japanese. Just keeping the family tradition.
But the Japanese on the mainland are not very fond of the okinawans. They think of them as lower class or worse
Goes both ways...I was there when the old emperor died...there was dancing in the streets. However from a society standpoint thier attitudes to life are similar.

i was talking about modern japan,not 80 years ago. i mentioned that up until fairly recently in human history, genocide and slavery and general destruction of everything was the norm, among christians, and everyone. a country like estonia, which i think is among the least religious on earth, is a delight and very good on all the human rights measures. morality and human rights are not christian inventions. again, its really the opposite, Christianity has a long history of misery and destruction. like i said before, if you morals come from reason and secular sanity, you dont wind up with a dumb holy book like the bible or the koran that people will use to destroy themselves, each other, and society. you could maybe argue that protestant values of hard work independence and freedom are nice, but those are more cultural than based in scripture. the scripture itself if a fucking joke, bullshit lies, and them more lies, and more bullshit. thats what i was saying but you were trying to misinterpret it to suit your argument.
