I personally would like to see the Senate be in the Republicans hands by like 51-49. Tell you why....the far left is going to push Biden hard to try a lot of left field shit. He will have to throw them a bone but it will be more in the way of cabinet appointments than legislation. Truth be told he has about a year to legislate before everyone starts running for re-election in the mid terms. A slightly Republican Senate would allow Biden cover from the far left and still allow him to address more middle of the road issues that need addressing like immigration, health care and infrastructure. I've always seen Biden as a centrist so I think this would make the most sense for his agenda. We'll see...
It's a good article and they'd be foolish not to be examining what went wrong. My guess is that most folks are afraid of the far left wing of the party. There were a substantial amount of split ballots out there where someone voted for Biden and then voted Republican for Senate and House seats.
The affadavit talks as if he were in Pennsylvania but this is in Texas. Why? Doesn't matter really because let it all go through the courts so it will satisfy your disbelief. In a court of law they will have to provide evidence so we'll see how it goes. I'd be suspicious of them questioning Pennsylvania law all the way from Texas.
I do agree that there has to be some limitations on executive orders. It will force the executive branch to work with congress to pass legislation rather than rule by orders that will only last until the next President. I think it has a negative effect on our economy as well.
I don't think we can afford to abandon fracking. For now it gives us a bridge to have cheap energy until technology can take us elsewhere. Creating said technology will need some government investment that can work with private investment. I've wondered for years why we couldn't make the switch to natural gas first. It seems so logical given how much we have, how clean it burns and the relative ease with which we could transition our cars, gas stations, etc.
