I can relate. I usually hate cats, but heard crying from a storage room in my garage and found a newborn kitten that the momma had abandoned. I went and bought some synthetic cat milk, a needless syringe, and 'nursed' that little fucker from newborn until he was fully weened and eating solid food. Never thought it could happen, but he's cool as shit and won me over. Still love my dog more, but he's part of the family now.
In the future if you have to provide milk to a new born animal. you can generally use goat milk. It is very digestible to most mammals. And its readily available in powder form at tractor supply. And I would guess cheaper than cat milk.
