Right. It is a system for lemmings. The power gab is even LARGER than that of capitalism. Greed is not always good, but its a better system than people like AOC determining how you live life.
greed in the context of free market capitalism is almost always good because it motivates you to create something somebody else wants, which is good. a person like me, i am not greedy, i barely want anything, i am not useful for society like a real greedy and materialist person. greed is better than good. its moral and right and beneficial
I sitcoms set in New York rent control was the explanation that characters with low paying jobs could afford to live in Manhattan. In Friends Ross had a good paying job as a paleontologist. Nobody knew what Chandler's job was. Joey was an unemployed actor. Monica made whatever a starting chef with no cred makes. Rachel was a barrista in the first few seasons. Did Phoebe even work? Jerry was a stand up comedian who was a regular guest on the Tonight show and Letterman. Elaine worked for J Peterman presumably at a decent but not great salary. George was perpetually unemployed. I always suspected that Kramer was dealing drugs and using too much of his product. Newman was a mailman.
If I ever get bored enough, and I have done nothing for seven months, and am still not there yet, I will give you a list. Just like detesting Hilary did not make me a Trump fan, detesting Trump does not make me a Biden fan. Especially when teamed with Harris.
