If you're voting for Kamala you are dead to me. You live in a swing state so you're vote means more than mine
While the central point of this article is about birthright citizenship I think there is a more telling and chilling point made in the first paragraph. The author comments: “With Donald Trump reverting to the usual last-ditch stunt of a failing president—trying to impose his agenda by executive order—it doesn’t seem helpful for Democrats to embrace a woman whose own campaign for president was based on all the things she promised to impose by executive order. It’s almost as if Democrats don’t object to a strongman, so long as it’s their strongman (or strongwoman). The point is that both parties and too many people are willing to support a more dictatorial government as long as it’s their dictator. Yes I mean dictator as it’s a short and easy slide into dictatorship from what Obama did, Trump is doing and what Biden, Harris and other democrats are advocating. The seductive attraction of using an executive order to bypass the messy task of actually passing a bill through Congress will lead to the transfer of all power to an unchecked executive. Certainly Congress has abdicated it’s responsibility over the year which makes an all powerful executive attractive to both parties because they lack the discipline and ability to discipline to do the work required by the constitution and continued representative government. we’ve moved far beyond that. Each political move brings us closer to the doomsday scenario of which party will be the first to kill the filibuster, thus reducing the number needed to a simple majority. Which party will pack the Supreme Court and expand the number of judges? one party has mentioned these positions as ‘solutions’ .... and it’s not the party of trump...

I think Trump removing cannabis from Schedule 1 by executive order would be a coup d'etat that would vault him over the finish line, instead of just squeaking by. He should claim the Washington D.C. Big Pharma controlled Swamp would never never let congress actually get it done. And it's disgusting. Millions of American's are denied, affordable therapeutic options and are forced on Big Pharma's high dollar menu of opioids. Americans suffer while Big Pharma and the Swamp get richer! That would be awesome. I think i'm going to smoke some granddaddy purp before bed tonight and dream that happened.
