I disagree. Majorities should rule. If we are all sitting at a table and we are choosing between pizza and hamburgers, if 8 out 10 people choose pizza, we should get pizza, not hamburgers because the 2 people who chose hamburgers are 600 pounds each and take up the most space at the table.
Actually you're example fits what happened better. Look at it this way. California is the 600 pound person. Note 2850 counties and a majority of states voted for Trump. Even in California a majority of counties went for Trump. The 600lb pigs are on the east and west coasts.
i Seems fair on the surface but wretched cunt won the popular vote by about 2 million. She won Cal by over 3 million. Trump won the rest of the country by 1 million. Also, she only won 450 out of the 3300 counties in the USA. Trump won 2850. When the demographic of a heavily populated state is so out of whack with the rest of the country it would be an injustice to the rest of the nation to allow one state to rule the roost. Plus, how many of those California voters were illegal aliens and shouldn't have been allowed to vote at all.
. Here we go with the illegals running out in droves to vote. They weren't at the polls on Super Tuesday they were in front of the Home Depot looking for trabajo
Ignore the illegals comment. Voter fraud isn't an issue. However the rest of the argument is dead on. In fact this very issue was discussed in detail in the Federalist Papers and is the best argument ever. It still holds true today.
Madison only did that so it could count the slaves as 3/5 a person because he knew the north outnumbered the south.
It's a good thing we don't let Cali decide our fate. We would be bankrupt like they are. Paying for feelings costs an awful lot of money.
@uscvball says they vote. Since she lives there and seems to be on top of these sorts of things I"ll take her word for it.
