  3. I appreciate GDFs sense of humor and perspective, but in all honesty that's not what I come here for and that's not why it's lasted 5 years. It's the thread where people post the nicest photos. My personal favorite was post 1553. So here's to another 5 GDF, lets keep the fun going.

    Another thing that contributes to the longevity is we only played the Ducks once and had a positive outcome. There is no bitterness in the thread, as there might be if we played them every year. So while I enjoy Tusk I think a 5 year Tusk thread, especially the last 5 years, would have a very different tone. No one would go there to look for beauty.

  4. By the start of November, they'd be harvesting tusk to the black market. You don't come into the den and play with a tiger or two, you get the den. The 5-year plan might be a tad optimistic.
