TigerTap, I tried to be courteous in my reply but I see you would prefer to get caustic. As I read your posts in this thread, I do not see one person who agrees with your assessment that UF is a better job than LSU. That means all of us replying to your list of reasons for CLM to go to UF don't know $hit, or you don't.

im not sure everyone disagrees, more like they ignore the messenger.

UF is a top 3 job in the country. and it all comes down to salary. they have a lot more money than most places. then recruiting.

There are about 10-15 head coaching gigs in the country that I believe are very similar in their appeal.

LSU, UA, UGA, UF, OSU, FSU, USCw, The U, UCLA, ND, UT(tex), ATM.

Much of what makes LSU great is Les, like I said before, a couple coaches I know, throw their names into the hat every time there is an opening. One is a OC an has a great job now, said he would take a position coach job. Another coach I know came in for a coaching clinic.
After the clinic was over, he was asked by Les, if he would like to talk. They talked for a while and Les asked if he would be interested in a job at LSU, if a spot was to come open, to which he said yes. Now, we don't have an opening, but Les as always, doesn't want to get caught having to look for a coach.
