I agree the big question is can Russell be as effective as Mauck, but more than Mauck being mistake free was his ability to focus on the next play. His INT in the Sugar Bowl, for example, caused that game to be much tighter than maybe it should have been. However, even making some big mistakes, like that and the one in the Ole Miss game, Mauck was able to put the bad plays behind him and move on. I think this will be key. Can Russell make the mistake, which he will, and put it aside and move on. This offense has so many weapons that we should be able to overcome our share of mistakes that most teams will make.
